Kids Come First

In 2019, the Government of Ontario announced the Kids Come First Health Team as an innovative team included in its plan for the transformation of health-care delivery in Ontario. Since then Kids Come First has evolved into a Regional Network that includes more than 80 organizations, family and youth partners, and individual physicians and healthcare professionals. Kids Come First has made a commitment to the children, youth and families, in the regions that it serves, to improve both the quality of care being provided to them and their access to it. The Kids Come First Health Team is doing this in meaningful, hands-on ways that have a direct, positive impact on children and youth.
