As the community continues to follow physical distancing recommendations from Ottawa Public Health, Ottawa area hospitals want to remind the public to continue to come to hospital if you think you have a serious health concern. We appreciate that the public is taking the recommendations to stay home so seriously, but it should not come at the cost of your health or safety.

Ottawa, Canada – March April 17, 2020 – Period poverty is when economic conditions make it difficult or impossible for individuals to buy menstrual products. At CHEO, period poverty has ended.

Rest assured that all kids, caregivers, staff and medical staff are being screened before entering the building by our friendly screeners! Everyone’s safety is always our top priority. A big thank you to our screening team who are taking on this important role.
