Francophone Working Group

Are you passionate about improving access to health services for Francophone children, youth, and families in Eastern Ontario? Do you enjoy collaboration, sharing your expertise, and working toward equity in care?

The Francophone Working Group is actively seeking new members to support its mission of advancing French-language health services through partnership, advocacy, and system transformation.

This group:

  • Collaborates with the Kids Come First Health Team to ensure initiatives reflect the needs and priorities of Francophone communities.

  • Mobilizes and connects partner organizations to improve access, care navigation, and service quality.

  • Supports knowledge sharing and capacity building in the French-language health sector.

  • Brings lived experience and cultural insight to help shape inclusive, equitable care.

  • Acts as a regional voice for Francophone children, youth, and families.

Interested in joining? Contact us at communications@kidscomefirst.ca to learn more.

Primary Care Working Group

The Primary Care Working Group brings together healthcare professionals, individuals with lived or living experience, and community partners to strengthen how children and youth access primary care across Eastern Ontario.

The group supports regional collaboration, helps shape priorities, drives innovative projects, and builds stronger connections across the health system – working closely with Ontario Health Teams to align efforts and maximize impact. Participation is flexible, with opportunities to engage in ways that align with your interests and availability.

If you're passionate about improving primary care for kids and youth, we invite you submit your Expression of Interest by July 18, 2025.
